Margolis & Bloom's Law School for Social Workers Program is geared specifically towards social workers who work with older adults and persons with disabilities and provides an opportunity to learn about a variety of legal topics.

The first hour of this program  will focus on MassHealth coverage for care in the "community" which is care at home or in an assisted living facility.  Topics include the following;

• Crisis Planning ("Waiver") 
• Home and Community Based Waiver
• Personal Care Attendant ("PCA")
• Adult Foster Care ("AFC")
• Community Choices ("Choices")
• Program for All Inclusive Care for the Elderly ("PACE')
• Senior Care Options ("SCO") 

The second hour of the program will focus on Guardianship and Conservatorship.  Topics include the following;

• Guardianship and Conservatorship under the Uniform Probate Code
• Estate planning for incapacity
• Trusts
• Powers of attorney
• Advanced directives of Health Care
