              WATER FOR PEOPLE is pleased to announce their

                     FIRST ANNUAL - Raleigh, NC - 5K Run/Walk.

                                     Please come out and join us !

All proceeds help fufill the WATER FOR PEOPLE mission to bring clean drinking water and improved sanitation to underdeveloped areas throughout the world.

Race details

Runner packets (shirts,bibs with timing chips, etc) will be available for pre-race pickup at Omega Sports  in Crossroads Shopping Center on Friday, May 30th from 5PM to 7PM. Omega Sports is located at 314 Crossroads Blvd, Cary (919-859-2623).  Packets not picked up by 7PM will be available at the race site on Saturday AM prior to the race.

Prizes will be given to the top 3 finishers ages 12 and under. 

Prizes will also be given to the top (3) male and female finishers in each of the following age categories: ages13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60+.

Event is weather dependent and may be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions on the day of the event.  NO refunds will be provided if event is cancelled due to weather.
