6-17-14 Differentiating Mathematics Instruction in the Middle and High School

Speaker:Mark Helton and Debbie Waggoner

Target Audience:

General Education teachers, Special Education teachers, and math interventionists grades 6-12.

Differentiation is a word we hear a lot about in education these days.  So, what is differentiation and how do we do it?  This workshop will explore various ways to differentiate mathematics instruction in the secondary school setting.  There are several “windows of opportunity” that will be explored throughout the day.  Strategies for each window will be modeled and participants will have time to reflect on how the strategies might be incorporated into their lessons.
