Our speaker will be Joseph F. Anastasio, LCSW-C, Transition Coordinator with the Baltimore City Public Schools.
There are many ways a student can participate in his or her IEP (Individualized Education Program) meeting, including leading independently or with support, initiating parts of the IEP process, questioning participants, and more. This Adolescent Transition Lecture will address these topics as well as the benefits for students, families and educators when a student directs or participates in her or his IEP meeting.
The lecture is free, free parking is available, and the building is fully accessible. Light refreshments will be provided.
Space is limited, so please register now!
Contact Resource Finder via phone or email if you have questions.
Inclement Weather Policy: Please note that if Baltimore County public schools are closed for the day, or close early, or cancel evening activities due to inclement weather, the Adolescent Transition Lecture will be canceled.
