Engage Their Senses! Multisensory Literacy Strategies for Struggling Students July 14th 2014

Speaker: Lisa King

Target Audience:

Primary, Intermediate, Middle teachers, special education teachers K-8, speech and language pathologists, interventionists K-8

Forty percent of students in our classrooms are Auditory and Visual Learners.  So how do we take the Visual Task of Reading and employ the other senses?  This session will provide the participant with easy to implement multisensory strategies around the five essential components of reading.  Participants will leave with Props and strategies to use with all students.  This is a great introductory session for teachers who want to differentiate instruction using multisensory strategies.
