DWI/Traffic Safety and
DRE Recertification Conference

The 2014 DWI/Traffic Safety and DRE Recertification Conference will be held fron June 4-6 at Tan-Tar-A Resort.  This annual event is open to law enforcement officers, prosecutors and other highway safety advocates and focuses on impaired driving and other traffic safety issues.

This year the conference will include sessions on:  understanding the threat posed by the sovereign citizen movement, recognizing current alcohol and drug trends and identifiers, and how different drug categories affect the eyes.  There will be general interest sessions as well as breakout sessions targeted to DREs, prosecutors, and non-DRE officers.  The conference will offer approximately 14 hours of CLE and POST credit.

Registration fee:
There will be a non-refundable registration fee of $100 per attendee.  This payment can be made in advance by mailing a check made out to MOPS Revolving Fund, to:

If you will be sending one check for multiple attendees, please include a list of the attendees covered by the check.

Payment can also be made by check at the door.

Please note that all registration fees are non-refundable.  Once a payment is received and processed, it is final.  We will work with you to transfer payment to another attendee of the 2014 DWI conference.  However, no refunds will be issued and payments cannot be applied to any other conference--no exceptions.

Accommodations:
A block of rooms has been reserved at Tan-Tar-A at a rate of $83.00 per night, single-quadruple occupancy, inclusive of local taxes.  To make reservations, please call Tan-Tar-A at 1-800-826-8272.  Reservations must be made by May 3, 2014, to guarantee this rate and availability.  Please be sure to mention that you are attending the MOPS DWI/Traffic Safety Conference when making your reservations.

Meals:
Breakfast will be provided for attendees on Thursday, June 5, and Friday, June 6.  Lunch on June 5 will also be provided.  Attendees are responsible for all other meals.
