THE 4th ANNUAL AWARDS DINNER

Join us as we announce our 2013 WTS San Antonio Region Award winners, recognizing excellence in the following categories: Woman of the Year, Member of the Year, Employer of the Year, Rosa Parks Diversity Leadership Award, and Innovative Transportation Solutions Award. We will also be honoring our WTS-SAR Scholarship recipients.

The awards dinner will be emceed by VIA Metropolitan Transit's Chief of Public Engagement Charlie Gonzalez and feature guest speaker Ted Houghton, Chair of the Texas Transportation Commission. The Commission oversees statewide activities of the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). Gov. Rick Perry appointed Houghton chair in October 2011 following his original appointment and reappointment in December 2003 and February 2009. A native of El Paso, Houghton is self-employed in the professional fields of financial services, executive benefits, and estate planning. He is the first resident of El Paso to serve on the Commission.
