Burt BrooksThe Rev. N. Burton Brooks, Jr serves in the Virginia Conference of the United Methodist Church.  Before entering the ministry, Burt was a member of the faculty of the School of Business and Economics at Longwood University where he specialized in the areas of management, marketing and finance. He earned his B.S. and M.B.A. from Virginia Tech and the M.Div. from Duke University. Burt has served as a consultant, trainer, and teacher in the area of leadership and management in the local church. He currently serves as Senior Pastor of the Brandermill Church in Midlothian, VA.  His interest is in assisting pastors and church leaders in developing practical organizational and management skills for more effective parish ministry.  

This seminar will identify and examine the unique characteristics of the middle-size church (100 - 300 average worship attendance).
