LPOC presents "STAY INFORMED—RIVERSIDE"

The Latino Physicians of California presents: STAY INFORMED.

The new Covered California is here and Medi-Cal expansion is underway. This means hundreds of thousands of previously uninsured individuals and families can now apply for health coverage. As physicians, nurses, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals, we all want our eligible patients to have access to the security and benefits of coverage. But it’s going to take more education and direct action on our part to reach that point. This is especially true when it comes to empowering California’s mixed-status families to apply and qualify for Covered California and the expanded Medi-Cal program.

Please join the Latino Physicians of California (LPOC), the California Medical Association (CMA), the CMA Foundation (CMAF), and the American Academy of Pediatrics–CA (AAP-CA) to find out how you can help all California residents get covered.

Come learn the latest on the new health insurance and Medi-Cal expansion, recognize the new patient base among those who will now be eligible for MediCal or subsidized insurance, learn about mixed-citizen status families and resources available to them. Find out more about resources and materials available for your patients.

On the fence about attending? You’ll learn more about newly eligible people in your area; speak with leading experts who can answer your pressing questions; network with fellow healthcare professionals in your region; and get a toolkit to help you help the uninsured – Get Covered!
