Mayor's Job Fair Job-Seekers' Registration 11 a.m.

The Mayor’s Job Fair will showcase sectors in the Charlotte area that are looking to fill entry-level and supervisory positions. This is your chance to have high-volume, high-impact conversations with the companies that are hiring right now.

Join us on Saturday, February 22, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Sheraton Charlotte Hotel!

Our theme is “Working Together WORKS;” here’s how you can work to maximize your time at The Mayor’s Job Fair:

Dress professionally. Business casual or business attire is required.
* For women, this includes suits (pants or skirt), nice dress pants, blazers, blouses, sweater sets, flats or heels (No: mini-skirts, denim, clothing that is excessively tight, t-shirts, spaghetti-strapped tops, gym attire including sweatpants and athletic shoes).
* For men, this includes suits, nice dress pants, khakis, blazers, collared shirts, loafers (No: denim, sagging pants, tank tops, sleeveless or muscle shirts, t-shirts, gym attire including sweatpants and athletic shoes).
Bring multiple copies of your resume to share with employers.
Bring paper and writing utensils.
Arrive promptly during the hour for which you have registered. You may arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled time to check in. Staggered registration reduces the time it will take to check you in and provide more time for you to spend with employers!

a. Log in to your NCWorks Online account
b. Go to the OTHER SERVICES tab
c. Click on APPOINTMENT CENTER
d. Choose EVENTS CALENDAR
e. Click on SHOW FILTER CRITERIA. For LWIA/Region select “Charlotte Works Work Force Development Board.” For Office Location select "Charlotte/Mecklenburg Employment Engagement Center"
f. Click on FILTER
g.Choose your desired event and click on it. Confirm date & time and click on REGISTER at the bottom of the page

The event is free, but registration is required.
Parking is free.
There are multiple bus stops close to the hotel.
There is no childcare available at the job fair. Please make plans for your children accordingly.
