2014 Regional Justice Leadership Summit 

The Center for Fair Housing will hold its 4^th annual Regional Justice Leadership Summit on April 23^rd, 24^th and 25^th. The theme of this year’s Summit is “Affirming the Dream for Justice”. This year we are remembering the importance of the work around the Civil RIghts Movement and the the work that remains. Here in the southeastern region of the United States although there have been victories, there is more work to be done. In the Gulf region there remains inequites for fundamental human rights, housing, economic growth, safe and healthy environments and fair and equal community development

Now, more than ever there is a need to take action against the wideing gap of equality and inequality. There is a need to lift up communities that are overwhelmed in their plight for justice and equality. So we come together for such as time as this to aid our fellow neighbors, co-workers, clients, customers and family to step into a place of leadership; begin to implement practical strategic actions that will effectively bring about change and ultimately progress. Again, we look forward to seeing our neighbors of Texas, Lousiana, Mississippi and Florida as we continue to support each others work for the cause of "The Dream."
