Please join AIA Cleveland in partnership with Kent State University's Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative on Saturday, March 1st for the first of four mentorship events in a year-long series. This event features an architectural rendering workshop with Alex Hogrefe and portfolio review session with distinguished leaders in our professional community.
In an effort to forge new relationships, develop forums for thoughtful collaboration, and take advantage of the multi-generational learning opportunities, AIA Cleveland is hosting a four-part mentorship series in 2014. Notable leaders of Cleveland's architectural community have been tagged to participate in each quarterly event to spark collegial dialogue with students, architectural interns, and young architects.
The first event is on March 1st and will use architectural rendering and portfolio presentation as a topic of conversation. Beginning with a workshop focused on honing rendering skills using modern techiques by leading expert, Alex Hogrefe, and followed by a portfolio round-robin with principals and partners from some of Cleveland's most notable firms. We hope to spark a conversation regarding the evolution of how architects present their work and establish their professional identity.
