2013 Woman of Distinction Award Winner

Frederique's company, Her Corner, builds hyper-local and face-to-face circles for women business owners who are committed to growing their businesses. Membership includes specific criteria and groups are located across the DC Metro Area, and soon will be in other US cities and in International locations. She and her team personally lead a number of small-group forums in which they hand-select groups of no more than 12 women business owners who are committed to growing their business and whom they believe will benefit tremendously from working together in a forum setting.

Louisa Jaffe l 2012 Woman of Distinction Honoree

As co-founder and CEO/President of TAPE, Louisa manages TAPE's business affairs, client and corporate relations, and marketing outreach. Formerly Lieutenant Colonel Louisa Long Cullem, she served in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves for 28 years. She retired from the Army Reserves in 2002, after having been called to active duty in response to the events of September 11, 2001. During the last half of her military career, Ms. Jaffe worked simultaneously as an Army Reservist and within private industry, where she has more than 30 years of experience in business ownership and management, public affiards, and information technology.
