Service providers, citizens, attorneys and families are working hard across the state with justice involved persons as they re-enter  their  communities after jail, during supervision and after prison.   4.75 CLEs  are available for attorneys at the regular conference cost of $60 plus  $14.25 for CLE credits (the conference cost is $65 after May 2).

This conference will give you an opportunity  to learn about and brush up on best practices at each stage of the system.  The state has set a goal for reduction of 5 - 20% in the Justice Reinvestment Act.  How can  that be accomplished?   Are there  opportunities for reinvestment dollars to help reduce recidivism and  barriers to sucessful reentry?

At whatever stage you are engaging in this issue,  there will be something for you.   We will be discussing strategies for providing effective community-based services needed at each stage of the criminal justice system  including pre-trial, probation, post-release supervision and re-entry after prison. We'll also be focusing on the community collaborations required to coordinate and leverage local services.

  With special thanks to:
NC Pre-Trial Services Association for co-sponsoring this event
and to the Bob Barker and Z. Smith Reynolds Foundations
 for their support
