Your Role in the Prevention of HPV-Associated Cancers 

The HPV vaccine can help prevent many HPV-associated cancers, but vaccine acceptance is low nationwide. Dr. Boonstra will discuss the importance of healthcare providers encouraging their patients to get vaccinated. There will also be discussion about some of the cancers for which HPV is thought to be responsible.

Objectives: 

1. Identify three HPV-associated cancers that could be prevented by vaccination.

2. Describe what healthcare providers can do to help prevent HPV-associated cancers.
