Join friends and colleagues in celebrating 50 years of Community Action as MCAAA holds its annual Summer Conference in a beautiful "up North" setting at Shanty Creek Resort, July 29-31.
The Summer Conference will feature breakout sessions that focus on four major areas of agency management, including Board Development, OMB Super Circular Training, Organizational Standards Strategies, and Community Needs Assessments. By attending the Summer Conference, you will be able to expand your knowledge and skills in these areas. We are also offering breakout sessions in Financial Education, Energy Efficiency, FACS Pro, and many more topics relevant to Community Action and professional development--as a matter of fact, the third cohort of MCAAA's Leadership Development Institute will begin their year long commitment (separate registration required.).
Among the keynote speaker that will be joining the Summer Conference is motivational speaker Rob Peck. Rob uses the art of juggling to demonstrate the importance of good focus and careful aim. He combines his humor and talents to teach certain techniques that participants can use in their jobs. You won't want to miss this entertaining and motivational message!
