This baseball-themed event takes advantage of an influx of Lake Orion area parents and school staff who are on hand at the high school for Spring parent-teacher conferences. Expected attendance typically tops 1000 for this event that is free to the public.

Take part in the Expo's Taste of Orion and promote your cuisine to hundreds of parents, students, staff and community members. Provide 750 food samples and it will waive the cost of your table (normally $130) at the event. You must be a member of the Orion or Oxford Chamber or DDA to participate.
Take a shot at earning the title of best pizza in the Orion area! What better way to promote your pizza than to hundreds of Lake Orion high school students, staff and parents. Only open to Orion Area Chamber of Commerce members. The fee for a table in the expo is $130 however; if you are participating in the Pizza War your fee will be waived. The winner will be awarded with a trophy naming them the “Pizza War Champion” to display in their business until the 2015 Pizza war. The rules of the Pizza War are as follows: slices served must be no more than 2 inch bites, toppings can only consist of cheese and pepperoni and you must provide 750 samples. Votes will be counted at 6:30 pm during the Expo and the winner will be announced at 7:00 pm.
Dance Mob
Sign your studio dancers up to perform at the 2014 Community Business Expo. A great way to advertise your studio in the community and provide your dancers with a fun opportunity to perform. Three times are available for studios to perform; 4:30 pm, 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm. Sign up early to secure your spot. There is no cost to the studio to participate, however if you would like a booth at the Expo the normal exhibitor fee of $130 applies. Only Orion Area Chamber of Commerce members qualify to participate.
The LOHS DECA Club Marketing students have created a game that directs Expo attendees to your booth to complete their Scavenger Hunt and get a chance to win door prizes. How can you participate? Donate a door prize ($25 minimum value) and send us your logo in .jpg format by April 1st. We'll add your business to the game board and participants will be directed to your table to register for your door prize. Participants then turn in their completed game card to us and we will draw five to receive one of our special baseball-themed door prizes. You will be responsible for drawing the winning name for your door prize and delivering it.
