       Better Together

This conference has been designed to be a dynamic multigenerational opportunity for sharing, learning, and living our faith together.  While lifting up the value of shared ministry and the significance of innovation and risk, we will gather together for worship and a large group learning experience, followed by fellowship and our Northern New England District Annual Meeting.  Childcare will be available for children under the age of 5.  We welcome (and have planned for) participation from children, youth, and adults of all ages.  There will be alternate activities available for any children and youth who choose not to participate in the Annual Meeting portion of our day.

Featuring:

Multigenerational Worship:  Our worship service will be offered by the professional and lay leaders of our Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Milford, NH.  UUCM has demonstrated a long standing commitment to multigenerational ministry through worship.  The planning team for this worship service brought together religious professionals, lay leaders, as well as children and families.  Including voices of all ages in each worship service has become a norm for this congregation. We are grateful to the good people of UUCM for sharing their gifts with us in this way.

Learning Experience:  Facilitated by Karen Bellavance-Grace, Director of Faith Formation for the Mass Bay and Clara Barton Districts of our UUA, and 2013 Fahs Fellow for Innovation in Multigenerational Faith Formation.
These Three
The 21st century is calling us to new ways of Being Church and being in association together. But even through the clutter and noise of our plugged-in-online-all-the-time world, these three abide: Faith, Hope, and Love. Together let's explore how these three sustain us in our shared ministries and support each of us in living as Unitarian Universalists at home, at school, in the workplace – even on Sunday mornings!

NNED Annual Business Meeting:  Your District Board welcomes congregational delegates to the 6th Annual Meeting of our NNED. We will elect new Board and Nominating Committee members and have an opportunity to share our excitement and hear from you about the move to a unified New England regional staff team.

What is a Passover Seder? It is good food, good conversation and the celebration UU-style of a Jewish tradition which tells the ancient story of freedom. Children are welcome - in fact, they are encouraged to be part of the Seder! Dinner includes several courses from soup to desserts. Tickets are $15/adults and $5/child.  To make a reservation, email Lyn Betz at lyn@concorduu.org or call (603) 224-0291. You may pay on the night of the Seder.
