South Carolina Arts Gala 

Join the South Carolina Arts Foundation May 7 as it celebrates South Carolina's arts community with a fabulous art sale and auction, delicious food and more! The art auction and sale will feature original one-of-a-kind works by some of South Carolina's finest artists, including functional and decorative craft, paintings and sculpture.

NEW THIS YEAR! Prior to the gala, we are proud to spotlight this year's Jean Laney Harris Folk Heritage Award honorees with a mini-concert featuring award recipients Anita Singleton-Prather performing with The Gullah Kinfolk, and Chris Boutwell performing with his band, Palmetto Blue. This concert and program takes place at 6:30 p.m. across the street from the gala at Southside Baptist Church. During this program, all of this year's South Carolina Arts Awards recipients (Elizabeth O'Neill Verner Governor's Awards for the Arts and Jean Laney Harris Folk Heritage Awards) will be honored in a brief recognition ceremony.
