Meet Our Faculty for This Webinar

Cassandra Koitsopoulos, BSc.N, RN, MHA, CHE, Improvement Facilitator, The Scarborough Hospital

As a Registered Nurse and independent Consultant with a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma and certification in Change Management, Cassandra has a comprehensive background in health care delivery and quality improvement from both clinical and systems perspectives in Canada and internationally. Cassandra has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Unversity of Western Ontario, has her Masters of Health Administration from the University of Toronto. In her current tenure at The Scarborough Hospital as an Improvement Facilitator, she is responsible for working with program and service leaders and front line teams to make sustainable, positive changes to operations and quality of care. 


Natalie Munro, RNClinical Resource Leader for PACU, Same Day Surgery, and Inpatient Orthopaedics, The Scarborough Hospital

Natalie Munro is a Registered Nurse working in the role of a Clinical Resource Leader at The Scarborough Hospital.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.  She is currently completing her Masters in Nursing through Athabasca University, Alberta.  In her current position as a Clinical Resource Leader, she works collaboratively with her team to implement evidence based practice in the PACU, Same Day Surgery and an inpatient Orthopaedic Surgical unit. Her journey in applying lean principles has been rewarding.  She takes great pride in the strides made to embrace Lean Methodology at TSH.

Sheena Perron RN, BScN, MN, Clinical Resource Leader - Nursing Resource Team, The Scarborough Hospital

Sheena Perron completed her BScN from the University of Western Ontario, after which she went on to complete her Masters of Nursing at D’Youville College.  For 5 years she worked as an RN at North York General Hospital in surgery, emergency, cardiac and intensive care. Over the past year she join the administrative team at the Scarborough Hospital working as a clinical resource leader with the nursing resource team.  Sheena has worked closely with new graduate nurses in development of a centralized orientation program. She has also worked with late career initiatives and professional practice in to develop a charge nurse program. This program focused on standardizing charge nurse work and outlines expectations for charge nurses across the TSH organization.
