3. Outline steps toward preventing abuse
4. Offer ways to intervene when misconduct occurs,
5. Equip anyone in a position of parish leadership with ways of healing and rebuilding the body of Christ.

Logistics: St. James' Episcopal Church is located at 1991 Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge in the Porter Square neighborhood.  It is a few blocks north of the Porter Square T stop on the red line.  The training will take place in Narthex.   The building is handicapped accessible.  LIMITED parking will be available in a lot next to the church, and once that is full, there is metered street parking, so bring quarters!  Take care not to park in "resident only" areas.  Child care will NOT be available.  Doors open at 8 am for registration and light refreshments.  Lunch will be provided by St. James'; please indicate on the registration form if you have dietary restrictions. The training begins promptly at 8:30 am and will follow this schedule of modules:
