Travel Subsidy

  • Travel is ONLY available for  in province travel.
  • Each  organization will receive up to a maximum of $500 for the travel subsidy based on need. 
  •  Mileage will  be reimbursed at $0.35/ km, hotel room for May 20 & 21. (receipts required).  
  • Those  accessing subsidy are responsible for making their own travel and accommodation  arrangements. 
  •  One  travel subsidy form to be completed per organization. 
  • Travel  dollars will be reimbursed after the conference.

  • A block of rooms has been placed on hold at the Victoria Inn at a rate of $124.99/night

Navigating the System: A Conversation with Service Providers

On the afternoon of May 21 we will be hosting a Service Provider "Cafe" giving delegates an opportunity to attend a number of short Service Provider presentations.    This will be a great opportunity for delegates to engage service providers across sectors and get answers to questions that challenge them in the work they do.

Full Conference (includes all workshops, breakfast and lunch): $50
HIV/ Hep C 101 Workshop only (includes breakfast): $25

Fee includes breakfast, lunch and nutrition breaks both days as well as all conference materials. 
Registration fee must be paid prior to the conference.  Attendance will not be confirmed until registration fee is received.

Who should attend? This conference is intended for front line staff working in the human service field as well as those living with or affected by HIV and/ or Hep C.

  • Ethics: Pitfalls and Opportunities in Social Media- presenter Dr. Keely Kolmes
  • Harm Reduction Expanded- Real Life, Real Talk, No Shame, No Judgement
