SAT Foundation Course, Extra Time

Greetings!

CATES is bringing its successful SAT Foundation Course to the office of Dr. Elizabeth Stone! The Foundation course acts as an excellent starting point to learn the fundamental content and strategies for the SAT. Classes are comprised of 2-5 students and follow a proven curriculum. This class is taught by a teacher with recognized successes with LD students.

This comprehensive course includes over 48 hours of prep before the June 7th test.

  • Core Content: 10 two-hour classes (20 hours total) that introduce students to the  fundamental content and strategies on the reading, math, and writing sections.
  • Mock Tests: 4 full-length mock tests (24 hours total with Time and a Half for students with Accommodations) using actual, previously administered SAT tests. Mock tests occur at the start, middle, and end of the program.
  • Mock Test Reviews: 2 two-hour classes (4 hours total) that provide insight into the most commonly missed questions on the last two mock tests, as well as strategies for smarter target scoring, time management, and omitting of questions.
  • Strategies for Building Testing Confidence: Each session addresses not only the academic challenges of the SAT, but also key strategies to conquer the emotional, psychological, and physical challenges inherent in the test-taking process.
  • Price: $2150
