WA Statewide Transition Conference

Please join us for a conference about improving transition outcomes for students experiencing disabilities. 

Learn and discuss methods to increase school to adult outcomes. Hear about practices that bring students and their communities together to land jobs and create futures. Let's discuss adult resources working in consort with schools and families, making a more seamless transition process.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER:   

David Mank, Ph.D., Director of Indiana University on Disability and Community will present on "Transition - to a lifetime of resources, relationships and meaning."

This all-day event will bring together a variety of perspectives on the topic of transition.           

The event will include the following breakout topics:

• iPad transition learning cohorts
• Rural strategies for transitioning from school to work
• The Center for Change in Transition
• Effective transition programs where students leave school with a job
• and more!

*Clock hours and CEU's will be offered at this event. 

The $75.00 Registration fee will include coffee and light breakfast, lunch, breakout sessions, and exhibits.
