AN ANIMAL SHELTER’S GUIDE TO RAISING MONEY

Now, more than at any point in history, fundraising is critical to the sustainability and long term success of any non-profit animal welfare organization.  This workshop will examine where your donor dollars really come from and how an annual fundraising calendar of monthly events will help to keep the money flowing.  This interactive workshop will guide each participant into development of a comprehensive, strategic plan that will help increase fundraising dollars and donors. Our workshop and plan will cover the fundraising activities from direct mail to e-mail blasts to grants to special events.

Volunteers are an integral part of your brand because they provide numerous touch points for your organization. Knowing how to properly recruit, train, develop and motivate your volunteer team can have a profound impact on everything your organization does from fulfilling its mission to customer service to fundraising. We’ll guide you to development of a volunteer program that will ignite passion from its core base.

We reserve the right to modify the workshop location.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY: Any registration cancelled within seven-(7) days of registrant's original registration date is entitled to a 100% refund minus a $15 administration fee.  Cancellations made after the seventh day from the date of registration will result in a 50% refund to registrant.  Cancellations made within seven-(7) days of the fundraising workshop or boot camp date will result in a 10% refund.  Registrants who do not show for a workshop, or who are late, are not entitled to any refund.  We assume no responsibility for individuals who book accommodations.  Please be sure to make accommodations directly with hotels and not third parties and be aware of their cancellation policy.

EARLY BIRD SPECIAL: The early bird special is a benefit that Humane College extends to individuals as a way to encourage people to register early for a workshop.  The early bird special expires several weeks prior to the published date of a workshop.  

By attending a Humane College workshop  you are providing absolute and irrevocable rights/consent to Humane College to use your name, quote(s), photograph(s), and/or video(s) in marketing, promotional, multi-media, or on-line usage. You hereby waive the right to inspect or approve quote(s),and/or photograph(s) and/or video(s) prior to any form of usage.  You also understand you will not be paid or awarded for providing this authorization.   You release all rights and will not hold Humane College or its staff responsible for any use or misuse.  You also release all legal rights and agree that jurisdiction and venue related to anything involving Humane College will be in the State of Arizona by the Maricopa County Hassayampa NW Regional Court in Surprise, AZ.  Any party, who unsuccessfully challenges the enforceability of this forum selection clause or files a legal action or proceeding elsewhere or seeks removal, shall reimburse the prevailing party for its reasonable attorney's fees and court costs, and the party prevailing in any such dispute shall be awarded its attorneys' fees to enforce this provision.
