Soundview Avenue Official Opening

Odyssey House Soundview Avenue provides permanent supportive housing in the Bronx for 56 single, low-income adults living with special needs. Tenants have access to Odyssey House's comprehensive social services programs, including substance use and mental health treatment, community-based recovery networks, medical and dental care, and educational and vocational services.

Our first green building, Soundview Avenue uses 15% less energy and 30% less water than similarly constructed apartment buildings. Each of the apartments, common areas, and work spaces feature humane design for a living and working environment with cleaner air, more natural light, and judicious use of water. Carefully designed landscaping using sustainable natural materials and native plants provides an oasis of outdoor space for building residents and staff.
