2014 Commencement Ceremony 

Commencement Ceremony and Reception

Come celebrate your accomplishments with us in Kansas City on August 9^th! Register to attend by July 3, 2014.

 The Commencement Ceremony is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. We ask that you arrive for registration at 12:30 p.m., so we can provide you with instructions and lineup for the processional. We anticipate that the ceremony will last from 2 – 2 ½ hours, with remarks from our Keynote Speaker; a hooding ceremony for our master’s graduates; remarks from a representative of the Class of 2014; and individual recognition of each graduate.

 Tickets will not be provided for Commencement. During the registration process, you will be asked to provide us with the total number of guests attending. This will help us ensure that there is adequate seating for everyone.

 The reception will take place immediately following the ceremony and will last until about 5:30 p.m. During the reception, photographers will be available to take graduate portraits and group photos in a designated area. These images will be available for purchase on the photographer’s Web site a few weeks after the ceremony.

 Please Note: All current and past graduates and those students who are enrolled in their final two (2) courses as of June 18, 2014, are eligible to participate in the Commencement Ceremony. (Participation in Commencement does not imply or assure degree conferral. Degrees are conferred when all requirements, including financial, have been met.)

 Regalia (Cap, Gown, Tassel, etc.)

To order your regalia, visit http://college.jostens.com/jostens/college/index.jsp before July 3^rd. Select “Find My School’s Store” and type in Grantham University to get to our school page. Graduation regalia will be mailed directly to you; please remember to bring it with you to the ceremony on August 9^th.  You must place your order by July 3^rd, 2014 to avoid rush shipment fees.
