To grow your business, you need to let the public know about the benefits your product or service provides. Today's businesses must do so online, and that still means email marketing — in addition to social media and traditional methods like billboards, flyers and television ads.

Research shows old-fashioned email is still far more effective than social media in attracting customers to your business. A recent study by predictive analytics firm Custora discovered that customer acquisition via email has quadrupled in the last four years and now accounts for almost 7 percent of customer acquisitions.
