Basket of Very Fine Wine –

  • Montrachet, 1997, Remoissenet Pere & Fils, Grand Cru, du Domaine Thenard:  Montrachet is arguably the greatest of all white wines available in the world today. Current retail price on Wine Searcher is $305 per bottle in Switzerland which was the only source listed.
  •  Hospices de Beaune, 1998 VOLNAY, Pierre Bouree, Premier Cru: Auctioned at the Hospices de Beaune on the 3rd Sunday of November every year, you might say putting this wine into our Art Works auction is like an auction within an auction. 1998 was "A small vintage, with rather chewy, built-to-last reds that generally are better than the whites”. Due to the limited vintage and no retail source for this label, not obtainable in the current market.
  •  Bouree 1995 Charmes Chambertin: Chambertin (Fine Red Burgundy) was the wine preferred by Napoleon, and it is said he always carried this wine into battle. 1995 Burgundy was ranked 7-9 out of 10 with only one vintage higher for the period of 1995 to 2008. This wine has a current market value of roughly $150-200 per bottle. Donated by David and Virginia Spencer. $750 value. Starting bid: $200.

Chef’s Table –  Four adults will join up to four residential clients at theVillage for dinner or tea. Food will be prepared by Chef Michelle O’Neill of Sage Dining. The experience can include a pre-meal conversation to provide some background on the residential program at theVillage. Donated by theVillage.

Catered Dinner Party for Twelve – Host a fabulous dinner party, and leave the cooking to the professionals. Dinner includes Hors d'Oeuvres, appetizer, salad, entree (including a fish & meat selection), dessert & coffee. Donated by 107 Catering, LLC. Value: $1,300. Starting bid: $500.
