SMPS San Diego Golf Classic 2014 

Join SMPS San Diego for a fun-filled day of networking, socializing, and friendly competition at the beautiful greens of Riverwalk Golf Club on Friday, May 30, 2014. The members of the SMPS San Diego Board of Directors (BOD) and our members believe that giving back to our local and global communities is an essential component of our collective roles in representing and supporting the building industry. To that end, each year’s BOD identifies a non-profit organization to receive donations from the proceeds of our Chapter fundraisers, including the Holiday Soiree, Golf Classic, and Awards Program. 

The 2013-14 SMPS San Diego charitable partner is “The COMMUNITY PROJECT: Ethiopia” (TCP).

The COMMUNITY PROJECT: Ethiopia is an organization partnering with Habitat for Humanity to build three key elements of community for Debre Birhan, Ethiopia:

• A school
• A community center
• A community garden
