ABCG Thematic Meeting: On the Wings of Robots - the Ups and Downs of Using UAVs in Conservation 


Please join ABCG for an exploration of the current uses, potential developments, and challenges of using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in conservation.

In this meeting we will:

  • Review the scope of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in use in conservation
  • Understand the conservation opportunities UAVs provide and technical specifications needed
  • Identify opportunities for collaboration between conservationists, engineers, and UAV specialists
  • Explore security, humans rights, and other concerns
