Animal Hero Service Leaning Training Class:
Preparing Students and Youth Groups to Help Oahu's Animals
This is a required class for those wanting to help the Hawaiian Humane Society for a school or club project or to earn volunteer & service hours.

Class highlights

• Animal Welfare 101 - Gain knowledge on key issues facing Oahu's companion animals. 
• Service Learning in Your Community - Learn about service projects that you can do in your community.
• Shelter tour and photo opportunities - See first hand what it takes to manage the nearly 28,000 animals that enter our shelter doors each year.  Includes an overview of the Society's role, responsibilities and needs. An overview of shelter photography rules are included in the tour.
