Speaking with Confidence:
A workshop for women on giving powerful
and authentic speeches and presentations

WNG Women's Leadership Forum

Wednesday, April 2, 2014
4:00 PM - 6:15 PM

Please join the Washington Network Group when we convene our next WNG Women's Leadership Forum with Allison Shapira, Founder and President of Global Public Speaking LLC.

About this Session:

For both men and women, public speaking and presentation skills are essential for interviewing for their next job, pitching to clients, or speaking up in a meeting. Yet women face unique challenges when speaking in public which can reduce their confidence, authority, and ability to lead.

In this workshop, learn the most important techniques to giving a speech or presentation to any size audience, and learn how to avoid the most common mistakes that women make when speaking in public. This is an interactive workshop which will give you immediately valuable tools which you can apply the next time you speak up at work, interview for a job, speak on camera, or stand before an audience. It’s not about learning to speak like anyone else; it’s about finding your authentic voice and your courage to speak.
