Tales from the Frontlines: Lessons from America’s most innovative brands

Presented by Kelly O'Keefe

Have you found yourself asking questions like:

  • How can we quantify the value of social media?
  • How can we court millenials without losing our base of boomers?
  • How can we make noise with a small budget?
  • How can we compete with the giants entrenched in our category?
  • What do today’s consumers really want from us?

You aren’t alone. Our approaches to marketing organizations and products are shifting daily and almost nobody seems to have it figured out. Fortunately, there are some brands that seem to be thriving in these changing times. Brands like Target, Coke, Shinola, American Express, Capital One, Kickstarter, Nest, Carmax, Facebook, Chipotle, Warby Parker and LEGO are staring down powerful competitors, uncertain economies and quirky consumers to win, consistently. There’s a lot we can learn from them.

Corporate brand strategist and professor, Kelly O’Keefe, takes us on a backstage tour of the world’s most innovative brands and extracts lessons that you can apply in your organization. You’ll learn inventive techniques for engaging consumers being used by innovators, large and small. And as a bonus, O’Keefe will go through a list of common brand blunders, because both failures and successes provide lessons for us all.
