In celebration of Manitoba Access Awareness Week, the Manitoba Federation of Non-Profit Organizations Inc. (MFNPO) and the Manitoba Access Awareness Week Steering Committee invite you to attend a FREE half-day disability awareness event especially designed for the non-profit sector.

Did you know Manitoba passed the Accessibility for Manitobans Act and will soon set new obligations regarding disability access? Learn what you can do to become a disability-friendly organization.

Training will include: 

• An introduction to the Accessibility for Manitobans Act.
• What you need to know about disability and diversity.
• Practical tips on disability accommodations.
• Q&A with disability experts.

Manitoba Access Awareness Week (MAAW) is celebrated annually with leadership from a broad range of organizations representing and serving Manitobans with disabilities. The goal to remove barriers to access in order to make Manitoba a more inclusive society.
