2014 PI Works!

Hello Colleague,

Meet stakeholder engagement pros for a rousing day and a half in beautiful Bend, Oregon. This will be the 8th PI Works! regional conference, the Pacific Northwest's signature event for public participation,        presented by Cascade Chapter of IAP2 USA.

Dr. Hannah Gosnell of Oregon State University will open the conference with stories of stakeholder engagement opening the way to peace in the Klamath Basin water wars. At lunchtime, City Managers Eric King of Bend and Keith Witcosky of Redmond will talk about the critical role of public participation for municipalities faced with costly infrastructure improvements in a time of rates rebellion.

The program is structured for interaction and networking at the beautiful River House convention center on the Deschutes River. Presenters are seasoned professionals who are helping communities resolve difficult issues throughout the Pacific Northwest. The program schedule is below. See the session descriptions here http://bit.ly/QZxoXf
