The Cause: 

Mealshare is a new social enterprise that allows restaurant go-ers to engage in a "buy one, give one" philanthropic experience. Mealshare also enables events to provide meals to people in need. A registered non-profit society in Alberta and B.C., Mealshare works with restaurants and event venues in order to make events “Mealshare events” whereby a meal is donated to someone in need for every guest at select events. Whether you’re working with an event producer or producing yourselves, the organization will work with the event leads to add a level of corporate social responsibility to the live experience, creating a win-win for your corporation and those in need.

The Producers:   The International Special Events Society (ISES) is a global organization comprised of creative event professionals from all disciplines within the industry. The ISES Calgary Board of Directors and members came together in 2011 to design a concept that would benefit a worthy cause by doing what they do best: produce unforgettable, seamless live experiences.
