VCCS A&F "Continuing the Excellence" 

 

Join us for a special "Continuing the Excellence" Benefit Concert presented by the VCCS Alumni & Friends Association and hosted by WordNet Radio's own Lorenzo Peterson and Markus Moore!  

Get ready for an electrifying evening of anointed praise with urban and contemporary gospel and standup comedy that will leave you rolling in the aisles.

 On Saturday, May 31st in the Victory Christian Center Dome, the VCCS "Continuing the Excellence" Benefit Concert will feature Grammy nominee and three-time Dove Award winner, CANTON JONES; one of the funniest comedians in the nation,  AKINTUNDE; and Stellar Award nominee for best new artist, Charlotte’s own TRAVIS GREENE. 

This extraordinary evening is being sponsored as a benefit concert by the VCCS Kings Annual Fund. All tax-deductible proceeds will benefit the school’s scholarship fund. General Admission tickets are just $10 per person (a merchant fee is afixed to online sales) OR $25 per person for a special VIP seat, (a merchant fee is afixed to online sales) if you'd to like to be front and center at the concert (get a complimentary KINGS RALLY TOWEL)!! Tickets may be purchased online, at the high school (1501 Carrier Drive, Charlotte, NC) or elementary school campuses (7224 Old Pineville Road).

"Continuing the Excellence" Family & Friends Fair

The Family & Friends Fair will be held from 3:00PM to 5:00PM. There will be food, games, live music and vendors on the grounds of the Victory Youth Building. It will be FUN, FUN, FUN with a family & friends fellowship. There will be:

• Live music (hosted by the Queen City's "DJ T"
• Bouncey Houses
• VCC Game Room
• Special Alumni Social (4:15p-5:00p)
