Directions:

North Entrance (Dundas) - From the intersection of SR93 and SR 324, drive south .3 miles, turn left on Sam Russell Rd. and follow for 2.5 miles to the forest entrance.

South Entrance (Radcliff) - From the intersection of SR 32 and SR 160, drive 2 miles north on SR 160 and turn right on to Experimental Forest Rd.

Once you enter the forest follow signs to the event.

Improving Forest Habitats For Songbirds 

Come learn about how to help support forest songbirds in a variety of habitats and landscapes, learn about the birds found in Ohio’s forests, and go on a guided birding tour of the Vinton Furnace Experimental Forest to identify songbirds in the field. Be sure to bring your binoculars, but extra pairs will be available if you don’t have any. Lunch and light refreshments will be provided.
