Although the Bible remains the best-selling and most-translated book in the world, its origin is often wrapped in mystery and controversy. How do we know the Bible hasn’t been corrupted through its long history of transmission? Who were some of the remarkable but unlikely Frodo-like heroes who copied, discovered, preserved, and translated the Bible? And how does the story of how we got the Bible shape our souls as contemporary followers of Christ?
