2014 Behind The Scenes Pottery Crawl 

Please join us for our Fourth Annual Behind the Scenes Pottery Crawl on Saturday, May 10th, 2014 from 11:00 to 5:00.

Enjoy an afternoon touring the beautiful countryside of northern Moore County, while visiting 12 of Seagrove's finest potteries.  Meet the potters and watch as they demonstrate different aspects of the craft--from shaping at the wheel, to glazing, to firing, to decorative techniques.  Enjoy delicious culinary treats and wine pairings at each studio, including beef tenderloin on French bread with herb butter, pulled pork sliders, spinach and basil pesto cheese loaf, mini crab cakes with remoulade sauce, assorted cheeses and vegetable crudite platter, chocolate dipped local strawberries, dark chocolate brownies, and more.  On the day of the event, a raffle drawing for handcrafted pieces by each of the twelve potters will take place.
