12th Annual Golfing for Goldens Charity Golf Tournament

The Golden Retriever Rescue Club of Charlotte (GRRCC) will host its 12th Annual Golfing for Goldens charity golf tournament on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Olde Sycamore Golf Plantation in Mint Hill beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Please help us in our continuing efforts by joining us for a day of "Golfing for Goldens", or be a hole sponsor (starting at only $125) or donor of an item for the tourney.  New golf items or restaurant gift cards make great raffle items.

The tournament format is a four-person Captain’s Choice with a shotgun start. Registration is only $ 90 per player and includes golf, range balls, cash prizes ($400 per team) for low gross and low net. If you register and pay before April 26^th, the cost is $ 80 per player. The 2^nd and 3^rd place low gross and low net will win rounds of golf. There will be a closest to the pin hole and closest to the line, and great raffle items, as in the past.

We will have a Hole in One contest on the 4th hole and grand prize is a trip to the 2014 US Open in June at Pinehurst.  We are looking for a naming sponsor for this event, also.  If you are interested, please contact Gene Fitzpatrick as quickly as possible for cost of sponsorship.

"Mulligans" will be available for purchase. Rounding out the event will be a raffle and silent auction for a number of valuable items and a wonderful BBQ dinner.

Deadline for player registration is Friday, May 9, 2014. There will be a 120 player maximum so register early.
