WHY
By participating in the Dog Jog, you are helping The Spayed Club (TSC) fullfill our mission to end the euthanasia of healthy dogs and cats in the Greater Philadelphia area. In 1990, over 100,000 pets were being euthanized annually in our area. By 2012, that number had been reduced to 40,000. Access to free or low-cost spay/neuter has played a key role in this success. TSC acts today to prevent the unwanted litters of tomorrow! 100% of proceeds from this event will go towards funding the spay/neuter of animals. Since opening in 2009, TSC’s low-cost spay/neuter clinic in Sharon Hill has performed well over 30,000 surgeries. Our low clinic prices allow us to serve clients who would otherwise not be able to afford to spay/neuter their pets.
