Advanced 3Gun Rifle - 8/9 

Course Overview

Rifle courses at Peacemaker are at the foundation of what we know best as a firearms training center.  In this highly unique rifle course offered at Peacemaker, we help 3Gun, recreational, and defensive rifle shooters understand clearly, just what it takes to make the longer shot consistently predictable. As an example, many 3Gun shooters struggle with the longer rifle shots in big competitions. We will help you overcome this problem.

The training class is in two parts. First we begin the day in our digital classroom and look at the critical components of the accuracy rifle system, which are Rifle, Optics, Ammunition and Shooter. We use our advanced classroom and digital capabilities to look closely at the 3Gun or  accuracy rifle, ammunition, optics and the  foundational rifle accuracy marksmanship principles necessary to quickly and predictably engage small rifle targets out to 400 yards.

Second, we spend time on Peacemaker’s advanced rifle ranges and natural topography areas to have each student observe demonstrations and properly engage targets with live fire out to 400 yards from field positions.

This course is ideal for all levels of 3Gun shooters and for almost any level of rifle shooter provided they have safe operational skills and an above basic level of rifle marksmanship skills. By the time you leave this course you’ll understand and be able to use the rifle like you won’t believe.

 

Prerequisite: By registering for this course student accepts all of the following; 

• All students agree that all information taught will be used for lawful defensive or lawful recreational purposes only
• Student accepts that upon enrolling, PNTC reserves the right to remove students without refund for unsafe, rude or unusual behavior or in the event that students are unable to reasonably carry out training and or live fire
• Student confirms that they are not a convicted felon and are lawfully permitted to use and own legal firearms under the United States Constitution.
• Student must also accept that this course will cover basic rifle marksmanship skills

Cost

Precision 3GUN Rifle: $150 Member  &  $180 Non-Member

$80 Combined Rifle & Ammo fee

 

Equipment and Ammo Requirements

• Rifle with Optics Bolt or Semi-Automatic. A minimum of 60 rounds of factory manufactured ammunition. NOTE: Please be sure to have your rifle system ready to take shots out to 400 yards.
• Peacemaker Does Rent Firearms For This Course:
• $80 combined Colt AR or FNH USA SCAR & Ammo Fee

 

Safety Language

1. Please ensure that your firearm is UNLOADED and cased prior to arriving at PNTC. Please leave your training firearm cased and in your vehicle upon arrival. We will tell you when it’s time to get your firearm.
2. Please do not bring a “concealed carry” firearm into the training room.  No ammunition or loaded firearms of any kind are permitted in the training room.

 

PNTC  Staff/Instructors reserve the right to the determine successfull or unsuccessful completion of the course o based on, but not limited to, safety, attitude and/or overall skill development.
