This session is designed to give small businesses and nonprofit organizations some simple ideas for growing their organizations using email marketing and social media.

What to write about
How to get more people to stop and read your messages
How to get more action, or reaction, to your messages and offers.

We will discuss what it means to run a campaign and tactics for measuring success without spending a lot of time or money.

Participants will leave with:

A workbook full of ideas for timing their messages
How to write a winning subject line
What kinds of offers or content they want to try
How best to approach their next outreach project.

Getting Started with Constant Contact - Guided Tour

You will be presented with a live, guided demonstration on the tools and features inside Constant Contact’s email marketing system.

In this time-efficient, highly practical session, you will learn the basics so you can get going with your own email marketing, including:

Selecting an appropriate email template and creating an email (…from scratch!)
Branding your emails with your logo, colors and photos
Adding images and links
Importing your email list into your constant database
Getting new subscribers by adding sign-up boxes to your website and emails
Tracking and interpreting your results

About the presenter

Karen Leonard is a co-founder of Innovative Global Vision, Inc. (IGV). She is a certified programmer and electronics technician with over 15 years’ experience in the IT field. On a day to day basis she is responsible for leading, managing, and overseeing the day to day operations at IGV. She is also a certified email marketing presenter and an Authorized Local Expert for Constant Contact with over 7 years helping small businesses build deeper and more profitable customer relationships through the use of online marketing tools.
