Course Abstract:

This Workshop uses Fairy Tales to focus on socialization and its impact on what we learn about becoming men and women. There will be a focus on how this learning impacts adult relationships at work and home and the effect on power and emotional expressiveness. There will also be a historical time capsule.

Course Objective:

1. Historical Perspective on Socialization.  
2. Impact of Fairy Tales on our beliefs.
3. Participants will gain information.

This course meets the qualifications for 1 hour continuing education credit for MFT’s, LPCC’s, LEP’s, and/or LCSW’s requiredby the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and addiction professionals required by the National Association forAlcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC).
