The South Carolina Workers' Compensation Commission will conduct a Claims Administration Workshop on Thursday, May 8, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the South Carolina Department of Archives and History, 8301 Parklane Road, Columbia, SC 29223.
This workshop is for individuals responsible for processing, managing and adjudicating claims in the State's workers compensation system; including attorneys, adjusters, claims managers, risk managers, paralegals, legal assistants, insurance carriers, and employers. Commission staff will lead the discussion and be available to respond to questions on specific topics related to claims processing, the hearing and adjudication process, and coverage and compliance. The workshop will also include an overview of eCase use and proposed changes.
REGISTRATION: Cost to attend the workshop is $45 per person and payment may be made electronically at the time of registration. Refreshments will be provided. No registration will be processed without full payment.
