A 365fitt Healthy Active Living Trip is about more than just a fitness vacation or weight loss camp;  it is designed to help you reconnect by stepping out of your normal routine, setting time aside just for you. This trip is a combination of exercise, healthy eating, adventure, relaxing and pampering. You will leave feeling healthier not only in body, but in mind and spirit as well.

 Your Accommodations

We are pleased to be returning to  Sea Oats Luxury Estate on Captiva Island, Florida.  It's an amazing 9 bedroom home and guest house with private pool and tennis court right on the water (Roosevelt Channel).  Across the street are the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico!  You may also enjoy watching the video of our beautiful accommodations for the week.  We have a variety of bedroom accommodations,  ranging from twin beds to shared King or Queen beds to a private cottage on the grounds, depending on your need for privacy.  Please see below for a description of room accommodations.

 Your Activities

Since you're here to get physical, we have planned every imaginable activity for you to participate in and enjoy.  We have rented bikes, kayaks and stand up paddleboards (SUP) for the week so you can tour the island and waterways.  We have a private tennis court for you to swing a racket, a pool in which to water exercise or water jog or simply relax, a beach and patio on which we will do yoga and pilates and show you new ways to use and take care of your body.  We'll offer a variety of group and individual activities to challenge your current level of fitness.  

 Your Chefs

Your private chefs for the week, Jennifer Karraker-Baldwin and Corrie Dye-Hale are returning in 2015 to bring you an experience in dining you'll remember and talk about when you get home!  The 365fitt nutritional philosophy is all about eating "good things" including lots of fresh fruits and vegetables plus fresh local fish, chicken and meats.  365fitt serves food that is "from the earth to your plate".  Some might describe it as whole food nourishment, thus avoiding preservatives and processed foods.  We do not portion foods, but provide meals that are high fiber, full of vitamins and nutrients, and loaded with flavor!  Check out the 365fitt Pinterest Healthy Food Board for a preview of some menu items from last year.

With an amazing team of women coaches - you will maximize your experience with plenty one-on-one time. A Typical Day

Each day is different for our activities because we like variety.  We may break out into small groups for different activities, or we may come together for a group "challenge" event.  We will work into one or more days ample time to explore and/or shop the island on your own.

6-8am Breakfast

8-9am Gentle Stretch/Yoga on the Beach

9-11am Group Activity, Power Walk, and/or Pilates on the Beach

11-1pm Free Time and Lunch

1pm-3pm Afternoon Activity:  Kayaking, Biking, SUP, Walking

Arrival and Departure Information

Please make every effort to arrive in Fort Meyers, Florida (RSW) on Saturday, January 24.  Check-in at Sea Oats is 4pm.  We will have airport shuttles/rental cars to pick you up at the airport, and will advise you of that schedule closer to the date. You will be able to pick up your registration packet between 4-6pm Saturday, and between 9-11am on Sunday. We have planned informational safety, testing, and skills sessions for Sunday.  You must attend these sessions in order to check out bikes, kayaks and SUP.  

Meals prior to dinner on Sunday are your responsibility.  This will allow our chefs a reasonable time to assemble our kitchen, and your first meal, which will be a celebration themed dinner on Sunday.  There are several casual restaurants within walking distance and transportation is available as well.

Departure Information

Please plan your departure for Saturday, January 31.  Check-out is 9am.  We will plan our shuttles, based on your departures.  You may schedule a later departure, and spend some additional time on the island before you go.  Our last meal, Saturday morning, is casual.


A deposit of $500 is required to hold your spot, and a final balance (based on your room selection) will be invoiced and must be paid 90 days prior to date of departure.  Monthly payment schedules are available.  Please contact Kathy@365fitt.com.  Please read the refund policy.

Main House:  One King Bedroom, first floor, shared occupancy (2 per room) $2,400 per person, $4800 entire bedroom.  If you require single occupancy, you must purchase the additional bed at full price.  Minumum occupancy 2, maximum occupancy 2.

Main House:  Four Bedrooms, 2nd floor, with 2 Queen Beds in each room (2 per room) $2,400 per person.     Additional person to share a queen bed, (only with the permission of other roommate), at an additinoal price of $1,100 per person.  Minimum occupancy 2, maximum occupancy 4 per each of these bedrooms. (1)

Main House:  One Mixed Use Bedroom, first floor, with 2 Queen Beds, 1 Twin, 1 Trundle (4 per room) $2,100 per person.  Single occupancy not available.  Additional person to share each queen bed, only with permission of other roommates, at an additional cost of $1,100 per person.  Minimum occupancy 4, maximum occupancy 6.

The Guest Cottage: with 2 Bedrooms, each with private bath, 1 Queen in each (1 per room) $2,600 per person.  Minimum occupancy 2, maximum occupancy 4.

(1) If you require single occupancy, you must purchase the additional bed at full price (pertains only to the 4 Queen bedrooms and the King bedroom in the main house.)  

(2) Two additional people may be accommodated in the Queen bedrooms in the main house or the cottage, for an additional price of $2,200 for two people, making for an exceptional value.  You must reserve a party of four together.

Will You Fit In?

Of course!  We have women who travel solo and at the end of the week, have made new friends and relationships that continue even once they get home.  We have everyone from business professionals to teachers and busy mothers, grandmothers and granddaughters, all looking to regain some of themselves back again.  The average age of our participants is 35-75 years, but we welcome both women in their twenties and women in their 80's!  We have women who have maintained their fitness as well as women looking for a jump-start, or a lifestyle solution to better health.  The 365fitt philosophy makes sure that you have fun, feel supported and leave energized.  We have many women who return to repeat the same or a different trip.  If you have questions about your fitness level, or traveling by yourself, please do not hestitate to contact Kathy at Kathy@365fitt.com.

What's the Weather Like?

People flock to Sanibel and Captiva Islands in the winter months to escape the cold northern temperatures.  Average daytime temperatures typically range from 70-85 degrees.  Nighttime lows may reach into the 50's, but warm up quickly with the plentiful sunshine.  Sanibel and Captiva Islands are world-reknowned for being  the best shelling beaches in the world and people, young and old flock to the beaches at low tides to collect beautiful shells.
