On April 15, 2013, Jennifer Kauffman stood within feet of the first Boston Marathon explosion. When she looks at photos she realizes she's lucky to be alive. Physically, Jennifer sustained injuries to her ears, neck, back and internal organs. Emotionally, Jennifer lived with fear and severe anxiety. It took months before she felt safe again.

Join us as speaker Jennifer Kauffman shares her experience at the Boston Marathon, the steps she took to overcome the obstacles, how she found healing through natural remedies and rose above the challenges. In 2014 Jennifer participated in the 2014 Boston Marathon to raise money for the Lupus foundation.

For the past 7 years Jennifer owned and operated her own business called the Results Group. In 2011, Jennifer was awarded the Stars 40 Under 40 award as an emerging leader in her community. She is currently writing her first book about her journey which is expected to be published in late 2014.
