Robotics!

Please join us for an exciting evening as we learn about Robotics. You will be amazed at how old these young engineers are.

Speaker Bios:

Pavithra Kannan, an 8^th grader at BJHS is a very enthusiastic individual, she is very passionate about Robotics. Her enthusiasm extends to Math competitions, Scholastic Bowl, IMSA and various after school activities.  She has been part of iEXCELL for over 5 years.  She teaches Robotics at iEXCELL to beginners and is consistently upgrading her knowledge about various Robotic systems and software’s at iEXCELL. Pavithra also enjoys playing Flute.

Mihir Bafna, also an 8^th grader at BJHS is a very passionate individual. He has been working on Robotics with Pavithra for over 5 years.  Mihir’s passion is Chess and is one of the higher rated players in Bloomington-Normal.  He teaches chess at iEXCELL to beginners.  Mihir is also involved with IMSA, and has participated in various academic competitions like Math Kangaroo, Math Olympiad etc.  Mihir likes to play Piano during his free time.

Both Mihir and Pavithra have been participating in science competitions like Destination Imagination, Explora vision and Robotics for years.  They are 13 years old.
